NovoMix 30 FlexPen is a premixed insulin injection containing insulin aspart, used to help control high blood sugar levels in people with diabetes mellitus. It combines rapid-acting and intermediate-acting insulin in a 30:70 ratio to help manage blood glucose around mealtimes and between meals.

Each prefilled FlexPen contains 3 ml of insulin suspension at 100 units/ml. NovoMix 30 is prescribed according to individual blood sugar levels, treatment requirements, and medical history.

How to Use

1. Use NovoMix 30 only according to your doctor's prescribed dose and schedule.

2. Resuspend the insulin according to the package instructions until it appears uniformly white and cloudy before each injection.

3. Inject under the skin at the site recommended by your healthcare professional. Rotate injection sites to help prevent skin lumps.

4. It is generally injected immediately before a meal. Eat a meal or snack within 10 minutes after injection to reduce the risk of low blood sugar.

5. Use a new needle for every injection. Never share your FlexPen or needles with another person.

6. Store unopened pens in a refrigerator at 2–8°C; do not freeze. Follow the product leaflet for in-use storage limits and conditions.
